Escapees RV Club - Chapter #6 - Michigan Area Chartered on September 9,1984, Great Lakes Chapter #6 now averages 150 member families. Our Geographic area is the state of Michigan; however, we are proud to have members from all over the country. We are very committed to the Escapee philosophy of “Caring and Sharing”. We pride our selves on leading the way in gathering donations for the Escapee’s CARE program. Check the Upcoming Rallies in the Pages menu below.

Chapter 6 members

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to let members of Chapter 6 know that our dear friend Mark Bronson passed away today. Mark loved being an Escapee and a member of Chapter 6. Those of you that knew Mark were blessed by his humor and giving spirit. He will be missed and knowing that he is no longer suffering and in pain gives us comfort as we grieve for our friend. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Sherri and Mark’s loving family.

We will surely miss our friend, Chapter 6 member for several years, Vice President for 2 years, President for 2 days. He was a tireless worker and obtained some new venues for our rallies. A friend to everyone.

Activities

We share in hosting a joint rally with chapters 36 & 51 in June of each year. We also hold rallies in July and September somewhere in the state of Michigan and we have an informal gathering in Quartzsite Arizona each January at the beginning of the Annual Quartzsite RV Show. And a luncheon in Foley Alabama each January.

We make every effort to be represented on Chapter Row at each Escapade.

We believe that Escapee’s Chapter #6 is your extended family. We do our best to make everyone welcome and comfortable at all of our activities.

We also publish a newsletter (Shorelines) three times a year to keep our members informed of events and activities.

While you do not have to be a member of Chapter 6 to participate in any of our activities, you do have to be a member to receive our newsletter in the mail.
